We love helping families downsize to a simpler, easier life. Whether it is an elder going to independent senior living, or new retirees that want to have less stuff cluttering the home they will be spending more time in, we cheerfully encourage the purging of old papers, files, magazines, outdated computers, and anything broken. We support you during the process and cajole you to let it go with no regrets.

“Hands on” means working side by side with you in attics, basements, drawers, cabinets, closets and garages. Do you have a family member that has moved to assisted living and has already taken what they want and need? We can organize donations, estate sales, and disposal of unwanted and un-resellable items.

This project was an estate sale in Wakefield that we coordinated and managed. Advertising on Craig’s List, local papers, local on-line Patch e-news, and local neighborhood e-bulletins have been extremely successful in bringing in many qualified customers. More Than a Move also has a private mailing list specifically for Estate Sales that we use to invite our regular shoppers.
